Life after death?

This post somewhat relates to my last post about religion. I, like most other persons on this planet, believe in a higher supernatural being; but in my opinion it would be rude to give a name or paint an imagine of this being. Despite me believing in this supernatural being, I am also a firm believer of evolution.

I personally don't believe there will be a life after death, albeit I do hope that the universe surprises me. From my point of view, we're one of the most evolved species on our planet, earth. In fact, we're so evolved, there are millions of chemicals in our brain to either punish us or award us for the actions we do. Don't believe me? Have you exercised? The feeling after your exercise is a natural body high, and you wouldn't feel as good as you do if the brain didn't release certain chemicals that make you feel that way. There are millions of other things I could list, such as anxiety for knowing that you're in fault, or feeling sorrow after you've done something wrong.

Those things are all natural, but not all of the species have those feelings, they're there because our brain has evolved over thousands of generations. We, without a doubt, have the most logical thinking among all of the species, and because of this we need to believe that there is some way that our journey will continue on after we die. Think about it, life is full of pain and joy, there wouldn't be one without the other. Our brain won't let us believe there is nothing after death, it's too advanced and evolved. Why are we afraid of death, if there was really something beyond death I don't believe we would naturally be afraid of it, we'd simply move on. The only thing close to life after death is our offspring, and that's why we love them so much. We're there to protect them and guide them throughout their life, make sure they don't make the same mistakes we did.

There is no such thing as life after death, I'm sorry, but look around. Every single species on this planet has only one goal, to live long enough to produce offspring, that's it. Some species die right after, others raise their children and reproduce again. As I mentioned earlier, our brain is highly advanced, and we've become so smart that we need to look for the answer to life, otherwise we wouldn't see a point in living.

The answer is your children, love and cherish your children to death, because after you're gone they are going to be the ones to miss you, and continue your legacy where you left it.

My thoughts on religion

Is God real? <- can be God of any religion you wish to choose

Think about it for a second... go through all the experiences in your life, be it bad or good, is God real? Now I'm not here to argue, because arguing about existence of God is really meaningless, you may ask yourself why, and here is my little explanation.

It may sound paradoxical, but in order for any claim to be true, it must be falsifiable. Do you get it? If nothing conceivable could ever disprove the claim, then the evidence does not matter; it would be pointless to even examine the evidence, because the conclusion is already known - the claim is invulnerable to any possible evidence. This is so because because it is impossible - logically impossible - for any claim to be true no matter what. Here's an example of a normal and falsifiable claim:

Water boils at 95 degrees Celsius. This can easily be proven wrong, you boil the water to 95 degrees Celsius, the water does not boil; the claim is proven to be wrong.

Arguing about existence of God would be completely pointless, because there is no possible way to prove that God doesn't exist. Now, I'm in no position to say that God does or doesn't exist, I'm simply pointing out that it's pointless trying to argue about it... keep your beliefs to yourself.
